FIRST ROBOTICS
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is a global organization that uses robotics competitions to inspire young people to explore STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math). Every year, students from around the world work together to design, build, and program robots to compete in high energy challenges. But it’s not just about robots—FIRST is about teamwork, problem-solving, and innovation. We’re proud to be part of the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), the highest level of competition for high school students. It’s where students take on real engineering challenges, build advanced robots, and create friendships and skills that last beyond the season.

Science
The study of the natural world through
observation and hands-on experiments.
At FIRST, students explore how science connects to real-life situations—including building and testing robots!
Technology
Using scientific knowledge in practical ways to solve challenges or create new tools.
From designing in CAD to writing code in Java , our team gets hands-on with the tech of tomorrow.

Engineering
Using math and science to design solutions to real-world problems.
FIRST members learn how systems function and use that understanding to build smarter, more effective robots.

Mathematics
The study of numbers, patterns, shapes, and how they change.
By combining math with the other STEM areas, students sharpen their problem-solving skills for challenges in and out of robotics.
